Bright Modern High-End Kitchen In Central London

For this project, our clients wanted a complete revamp of their kitchen and their preferred style for the kitchen was modern shaker and they still wanted some contemporary features to make the space stand out.

We chose modern shaker-style door and drawer fronts made from oak wood with a blue lacquer for the cabinets and finished them with brass handles. We then added shelves and a wine rack in a warm wood colour to break up the monotony of the blue and prevent it from becoming overpowering.

The 30mm worktop, called Frosty Carrina, gives the kitchen a simple white modern look. It’s been complemented using a traditional brick-style splashback made with New Terracotta glossy translucent Craquele tiles.

The modern flare in this kitchen comes with the appliances. The double oven, hob and drinks fridge are built in to integrate with the design. There’s also a freestanding American-style fridge freezer, Quooker hot water/filter tap, and a Kaelo wine bottle cooler under-mounted into the worktop.

And finally, there’s plenty of clever storage. A pull-out rack for base cabinets, Le-Mans corner units, bespoke cutlery drawers and a tailor-made pantry cabinet.

The wine rack and drinks fridge give ample storage for our clients and ensures they’re ready for entertaining guests.

Bespoke drawers were designed to keep small spice jars organised and prevent them from getting lost or forgotten at the back of a cupboard.

The white wall tiles and worktop reflect natural daylight and provide a beautiful contrast to the blue cabinets. At the same time, the wooden floor and shelving add warmth to the room.

Bespoke cutlery drawers with dividers were a must to keep everything sorted neatly. And the pull-out storage rack ensures our clients can see all their food, so nothing gets wasted.

This clever Kaelo wine cooler is sunk into the worktop. It’s ideal for maintaining wine at the perfect drinking temperature without worrying about ice buckets.
