For this project, we were tasked with designing a generously sized open-plan kitchen diner. The goal? A well-balanced aesthetic, effortless style, and open feel. The final result is all this and more, perfectly integrating both style and function; something that our clients value highly.
Personality in design is a quality we take pride in achieving. For this project, we brought it out with playful accents and textures that highlight key features in the space. The deep blue-grey hues, a distinctive and bold choice for a kitchen, create a striking contrast against the warm wooden flooring – a pairing that showcases the beauty of a truly customised design.
Cabinets – Grigio Grifite matt lacquer
Flooring – Pine
Splashback – Toughened back-painted glass
Worktop – Diresco Pure White Quartz
The cool tone of the cabinets allowed us to introduce pops of colour through accessories. These decor pieces bring a vibrant energy into the space without overwhelming it. It’s the thoughtful accents that tie this design together, reflecting the client’s personality and style.
All cupboard doors and drawers are push-to-open with integrated appliances for a clean, uninterrupted finish. It’s a practical design choice that helps the kitchen feel spacious and organised.
The white quartz worktop adds a crisp, fresh touch to the kitchen, tying everything together for a harmonious and complete look.
Silver pendant lights bring a touch of rustic charm to this contemporary kitchen. These lights, along with the dashes of colour found throughout, create a balanced and dynamic aesthetic.
We chose Grigio Grafite Matt lacquer for the cupboard doors, a cool base colour that complements the space. This subtle tone provides the ideal canvas for layering different textures and colours throughout the room.
