There are many great reasons to buy a vented hob for your new kitchen. First, they’re incredibly efficient compared to extractor fans. They draw off steam, smoke, oil, and odour as soon as it leaves the pan, so your space stays clean and fresh. And your kitchen is less cluttered, making it light and airy.

As vented hobs have increased in popularity, so have the number of models available. And, with so many choices, knowing which one is right for you can be difficult. So, we’re here to help.

In this blog, we look at four of the best vented hob brands and highlight the high-tech features that make them perfect for any luxury kitchen.

Gaggenau Vented Induction Hobs –

Gaggenau 400 series flex induction hob

The design and functionality of Gaggenau hobs are inspired by professional kitchens. So, not only do they look fantastic, but they have plenty of high-tech functions to make cooking a breeze.

There are two hob ranges – the 400 series and the 200 series. And within those are Flex vented hobs, and Vario vented hobs.

Vario is a modular system which allows you to combine vents with individual cooker tops, an electric grill, and a Tappan Yaki (an iron griddle plate), depending on your needs. So, it’s ideal for spacious kitchens where you can spread several cooktops over a large area.

Flex are standalone hobs. Although they can be matched with hobs from the Vario range to give you more cooking options.

In the following sections, we highlight the main features of the Flex range of hobs.

Visit the Gaggenau website for full details.
